Every great lesson starts with a plan. For this standard it is important that the teacher understand how to put together a plan that brings in the students prior knowledge, the content area, skills from other areas, and a knowledge of the individual learners, and the community. If all of this is not wrapped into one, the teacher will be unsuccessful.
