Content Knowledge

This standard is perhaps the most obvious when assessing the success of a teacher. The teacher must have a strong grasp on the curriculum that they are teaching their learners in order for their learners to achieve mastery of the curriculum. If a teacher does not fully understand what they are teaching, it gives students the opportunity to lose respect for the teacher, thus damaging their ability to learn.
